For a nice change, we all ventured to Koh Larn again for The Run of the Hills. The hares ( Jello Butt & V.V.) explained the run and walk after which we all left in our various ways. For the walkers it was quite a pleasant down hill stroll. This we were all happy about. For the runners, well that's a different story. It was a case of over the hills and far away. I think we should borrow Really Sadistic's name and rename Jello Butt Sadistic Jello Butt. I think he thought he was training the Marines not a bunch of hashers. With 4 hills to climb and a vicious long false trail many hashers lost their way and or their stamina. At one point the trail crossed it ‘self confusing a lot of people. In the heat of the sun some made it to the beach by baht bus or motor bike to cool off with some refreshing drinks and a dip in the sea. My Precious got lost found and lost again to finally make it back. The hobbit had been searching everywhere for her. After some excellent food from the restaurant and of course V.V. the circle was started thankfully in a lovely sheltered location just off the beach and out of the baking sun.

The hares were duly iced, though Jello Butt took full responsibility for the run. He certainly got a lot of stick. In the midst of everyone getting iced for one reason or another it was noticed R.S.B. was drinking water. But he soon recovered with his medicine Dr. Chang. Two of V.V. French friends were introduced to the tubes and with a bit of practice got it right. Between the icings Arse A Holic and Barbie Doll got their 75 run hats and Satan's Willy got his 25 run patch. It was a great day with everyone pitching in and helping with the beer etc. on and off the boat and baht buses. With plenty of cold drinks left everyone had their fill on the boat back to Pattaya. The Hashers that weren't to tired repaired back to the Thistle Bar for more drinks and recalling the day's proceedings.
