Hares for today’s run were Colonel Cornhole & Missing Link. My first thought when I noticed the names was “are we going really to have a run today?”. I remembered a few months ago, a Monday’s hash hared by Colonel Cornhole, when all the pack couldn’t find any paper and was lost on the trail after 5 minutes…. Anyway, A-site today is a Chinese cemetery, and GM Bam Bam called the first circle with the special attendance for a few hashers from Chiang-Mai. Colonel Cornhole explained the usual papers and colored checks and Missing Link gave us a few more details I didn’t understood like “turn right at the airport runway , turn left at the airport runway….?????”. As I came with the bus, I didn’t know where we were, but I was wondering how we could be so far south to be able to reach U Tapao airport, unless this was a Missing Link’s joke (??). Colonel Cornhole leaded us to the first papers, then the FRB rushed on the trail followed slowly by the pack. After a few hundred meters the first check was cleared easily and we arrived to an airport runway for the first time.( Apparently, that was not U Tapao airport and the runway didn’t looked to be used very often.). I heard the GM’s shout “Don’t cross the runway” but didn’t follow these instructions while we passed by this runway for the second time (later on, I was bucketed for this mistake). No real difficulties during this run, no hill, only a few meters in shallow swamp (short enough to have ex GM Hobbit upside down), and we were back on the A-site. My GPS displayed a distance of 4.12km in 33 minutes. For FRB, Shit through a duck, Vaseline Tights, this wasn’t enough as they finished their first lap in less than 32 minutes, and I arrived to see them starting a second one. The others FRB, Jellobutt, and Pussy Snatcher didn’t follow and preferred to start the beer testing.
